What to do if hair lice grow in your hair

What to do if hair lice grow in your hair

The hair mites in the hair are a kind of mite, which has a great impact on hair quality and physical health. When hair mites appear in the hair, you can use sulfur soap to wash your hair, because sulfur soap has a good anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect and can kill mites. In addition, you can also use some products containing rosemary ingredients, which have the effect of eliminating mites. You should keep your hair clean and hygienic at ordinary times. People with serious problems can undergo certain drug treatments.

1. Sulfur soap

You can also use sulfur soap to wash your hair once a day to remove head mites deep in the hair follicles. The effect is better. Generally, the mites can be completely eliminated within 7-10 days.

2. Use products containing rosemary

When using products containing rosemary, you must insist on removing head mites. If head mites are not eliminated, hair loss will be difficult to cure. You can also use products containing rosemary ingredients, which can be antibacterial, anti-mite, anti-oxidant, and anti-greasy.

3. Pay attention to hair hygiene

Pay attention to hair hygiene. It is recommended to pay attention to hair hygiene in daily life, keep it clean, and change bed sheets and quilt covers frequently. Keep the room clean, well ventilated, and change and wash clothes frequently. Because these are places where mites like to stay.

4. Drug treatment

If the mite infection is already very serious, it is recommended to use medication, of course, under the guidance of a doctor.

Head mites live on the scalp and can enter the roots of hair, so ordinary drugs to kill head mites are difficult to work. Therefore, killing head mites requires comprehensive consideration. We need a method that can deeply kill head mites while protecting hair follicles and promoting hair regeneration. Only in this way can we fundamentally treat hair loss and allow hair to regenerate.

Symptoms of hair infestation

(1) Itching: Itching is the main symptom, but the degree of itching varies from person to person. Itching is caused by pubic lice using their claws to pierce or puncture the skin, and itching occurs when the lice bite and inject saliva. Pubic lice inject saliva when sucking blood because saliva can prevent blood from clotting, which facilitates blood sucking. Pubic lice suck blood several times a day, so the itching is paroxysmal.

(2) Insects or eggs: Small pubic lice can be found at the root of hair follicles. They are light black, grayish white, or red (full of blood). Some patients can directly find small granular worm eggs.

(3) Rash: There are often microscopic holes (invisible to the naked eye) at the site of pubic lice bites, local redness, small red spots, and blood scabs on them; after about 5 days, the microscopic holes will produce a local allergic reaction, often with raised papules. Infection often occurs due to scratching, with pustules, exudate, and crusting.

(4) Blue-gray spots: Blue-gray spots of 0.2 to 2 cm in size can be seen near the affected area. They are painless and itchy, and do not fade when pressed. They can last for several months. These blue-gray spots can also be seen on the chest, abdomen, inner thigh, etc. The cause of these blue-gray spots is still unclear, but it may be related to the saliva of pubic lice entering the blood during bites.
