What are the symptoms of anal inflammation? How to deal with it?

Anal inflammation is a common disease, which can be easily confused with hemorrhoids. Therefore, it is difficult to diagnose. However, the disease progresses rapidly and can cause long-term itching around the anus, etc., which has a great adverse impact on the patient's life. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of anal canal inflammation. How to deal with it?

Symptoms of anal inflammation:

1. Persistent throbbing pain: Many patients suffer from persistent pain due to long-term fecal irritation, which makes them unable to move and unable to sit or lie down.

2. Anal itching and moisture: Bad bowel habits, bad living habits, recurrence and aggravation of inflammation, etc. can cause anal moisture and itching.

3. Anal distension and heaviness, abnormal bowel movements, etc.: Due to inflammation, many patients have the phenomenon of holding back bowel movements, so the anus is prone to a heaviness and distension feeling.

How to treat anal canal inflammation:

1. To treat anal canal inflammation, you can take oral antibiotics to treat intestinal infections such as diarrhea that cause the disease; or use laxatives to normalize fecal excretion, such as Ma Ren Run Chang Wan.

2. Various hemorrhoid suppositories and hemorrhoid ointments can be used to treat anal canal inflammation.

3. To treat anal canal inflammation, you can take a warm salt water sitz bath to keep the area clean, and apply 5% to 10% silver nitrate solution to the bottom of the anal sinus once a day. You can also use 30 to 60 mL of olive oil for enema.

4. For the treatment of anal inflammation, you can use sulfapyridine salicylate. During the attack period, adults start with 2-3 grams per day, divided into 3-4 times. If there are no adverse reactions, gradually increase the dose to 4-6 grams per day, divided into 3-4 times. After the symptoms improve, gradually reduce the dose to 1-2 grams per day, divided into 3 times. Maintain it for at least 1 year. 89% of people can remain asymptomatic. Although increasing the dosage can improve the efficacy, the side effects will also increase.
