What causes stomachache and vomiting? Causes of stomach ache and vomiting

Stomach pain is a common symptom in life, but some people not only have stomach pain, but also have vomiting, nausea and other symptoms. What is going on? This situation reminds us that we should go to a regular hospital for examination and diagnosis as soon as possible and take effective treatment measures. Because abdominal pain and vomiting are not necessarily simple gastrointestinal diseases, they may also be other diseases.

What causes stomach ache and vomiting?

1. Dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is the most common type of abdominal pain in women. Abdominal pain or diarrhea caused by dysmenorrhea is very normal. To relieve menstrual cramps and reduce menstrual bleeding, you can take Advil or ibuprofen 12 to 24 hours before your period. Then take the prescribed dosage every 3-6 hours for 3 consecutive days.

2. Lower abdominal pain and bloating. Many factors can cause bloating, including menstruation and constipation. It is recommended to eat less salt because it will retain water in the body, avoid eating foods that are easy to make people fart, such as beans, cabbage, cauliflower, or drink more yogurt containing active probiotics to help regulate your own digestive system.

3. Lower abdominal pain caused by gastroesophageal reflux. Reflux occurs when acid from the stomach moves into the esophagus and throat. It often occurs at night. Unlike heartburn, reflux can cause pain in the chest and may be accompanied by a sore throat or cough. It is recommended to reduce the amount of alcohol and smoking, avoid eating before going to bed, or take antacids.

4. If you have lower abdominal pain and nausea, a simple solution is to eat ginger. It can relieve nausea by speeding up the flow of food from the stomach to the small intestine. When you feel nauseous after eating too much, drink some ginger tea. Chop the ginger and soak it in water, then add some honey to relieve stomach discomfort.

5. Lower abdominal pain caused by heartburn. The main causes of heartburn are eating spicy foods before going to bed, eating too much and too fast, etc. Drinking a glass of milk when you feel a burning sensation in your stomach can suppress the acid produced in your stomach.
