Several methods of TCM treatment of heart valves

When the disease occurs, it will not only affect the patient's daily life, but also bring very great negative impact to the patient's family. In severe cases, it will cause abnormal heart function of the patient and even affect the safety of life. Currently, the incidence of heart valve disease in the elderly is getting higher and higher. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Heart Valve Disease

1. Cardiac stasis:

Dizziness, fatigue, palpitations, coughing and hemoptysis, or heart pain, purple cheekbones, purple lips, nails and tongue, and thin and rapid or intermittent pulse. Treatment method: Promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Prescription: Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction with modifications.

2. Deficiency of Qi and Blood:

Palpitations, shortness of breath, irritability and fatigue, pale or sallow complexion, plump and tender tongue, and thin and rapid pulse. Treatment method: Invigorate Qi and nourish blood. Prescription: Guipi Decoction with modifications.

3. Deficiency of heart and kidney yang:

Palpitations, edema, cough and shortness of breath, dull complexion, cold hands and feet, pale tongue, thin coating, and intermittent or deep, thin and rapid pulse. Treatment method: Warming the yang and promoting diuresis. Prescription: Zhenwu Decoction.

Acupuncture treatment for valvular heart disease

1. Body acupuncture:

Take Neiguan, Jianshi, Xinshu, Zusanli and Sanyinjiao. Blood stasis in the heart is treated with Shenmen, Tongli and Xuehai; deficiency of both qi and blood is treated with Pishu, Weishu and Gongsun; deficiency of heart and kidney yang is treated with Shenshu, Mingmen, Guanyuan and Taixi; edema is treated with Shenshu, Shuifen, Yinlingquan and Fuliu; nausea and vomiting is treated with Zhongwan, Qihai and Gongsun.

2. Roasting method:

Xinshu, Jueyinshu, Pishu, Zhongwan, and Shenmen. The method of hanging moxa sticks.

3. Ear acupuncture:

Take Shenmen, heart, lungs, endocrine, subcortex, adrenal glands, and sympathetic points. Select 2 acupoints on one side each time, use them alternately on both sides, and leave the needles in for 15 minutes. Do it once a day during heart failure stage, and do it every other day or once a week after improvement.

4. Electroacupuncture:

Take Neiguan, Gongsun, Ximen and Sanyinjiao.

5. Acupoint injection:

Take Neiguan, Ximen, Jianshi, Shaohai, Xinshu, Zusanli and Sanyinjiao. Use compound angelica liquid diluted with 5% glucose water, vitamin B12 injection 500μg or salvia miltiorrhiza injection, inject 0.5-1ml into each acupoint, and select 2-3 acupoints each time. Once every other day.
