Causes and treatments of whiteheads

Causes and treatments of whiteheads

Acne is a major problem that bothers teenagers, and acne is divided into whiteheads and blackheads. The similarity between these two types of acne is that they are both formed by the accumulation of skin's self-metabolism. The difference is that whiteheads are closed and blackheads are open, so in comparison, whiteheads are the main problem that bothers teenagers. Therefore, we need to understand how whiteheads are produced in order to better treat them and solve our problems.

Causes of whiteheads

1. Internal factors

1. Excessive secretion of androgen is the main reason. Androgens increase the number of sebaceous glands, promote keratinization of hair follicles, clog pores and cause acne.

2. Internal diseases or functional disorders of the body can induce the occurrence of acne.

3. Mental stress and lack of sleep.

4. Excessive consumption of spicy food and sweets.

2. External factors

1. Improper cleaning. Some people squeeze, pick, or pick pimples randomly, which may cause bacterial infection.

2. Severe sunlight. Pigment is a factor that protects the skin from sun damage. Excessive sun exposure can cause pigment to surge into the pores, where it hardens with oil and becomes whiteheads.

3. Improper use of skin care products. Many people use the wrong skin care products, which causes skin problems such as excessive sebum secretion and clogged pores, leading to the formation of whiteheads and blackheads.

Prevention and treatment:

1. Clean your skin properly

Wash your face with warm water, but no more than 3 times a day. Removing excess oil from the skin is the most important first step in eliminating acne. Complete cleansing can remove dirt and dead skin cells on the face, avoid blockage of hair follicles and reduce the occurrence of acne.

Use a special sponge to help wash your face to make oily skin refreshed. Rub the cleanser in the palm of your hand to create foam, then use a sponge to increase the foam; gently brush the sponge from the neck, around the mouth, chin, cheeks, nose bridge, etc., finally rinse off the foam with warm water, and pat your face with cold water.

2. Exfoliate regularly

Regularly removing the keratin waste accumulated in the pores can enhance cell metabolism, avoid the accumulation of old keratin waste, block the hair follicles, cause bacteria to grow and cause acne.

3. Use appropriate skin care products

Using skin care products containing oil-control, exfoliating, antibacterial and other ingredients can also help the skin fight and prevent the occurrence of acne and pimples.

4. Sufficient and regular sleep

Staying up late and stress can easily cause biological clock disorders, leading to hormonal imbalances, affecting endocrine system, and indirectly promoting the formation of acne.

5. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight

Excessive exposure to sunlight can stimulate acne and worsen it. The accumulation of melanin in the skin will also deepen the color of acne scars and delay their recovery time.

6. Reduce the intake of fried, spicy and nut foods

This type of food can easily stimulate the growth of acne, so if you want to reduce the problem of acne or acne, you must first change your eating habits, drink more water and eat more vegetables and fruits to speed up the body's metabolism and promote the cell's ability to detoxify.
