Why are there black spots floating around in my eyes?

There are black spots floating around in the eyes. In fact, this is a typical symptom of floaters. Floaters are also a visual disorder. In fact, they will have a certain impact on the patient's life and work. Therefore, we should also pay attention to the conditioning of floaters. We should use our eyes scientifically and avoid excessive fatigue.

1. Many people suffer from "floaters". When facing the blue sky or white walls, they will find a group of "mosquitoes" flying in front of their eyes. They will fly around with the rotation of their eyeballs. The shapes are round, oval, dot, line, etc.

2. Floaters are a very special and quite common visual disorder, which may be caused by two situations. First, during the fetal period, blood vessels are needed to supply nutrients in order to form the vitreous body. After the vitreous body is formed, the blood vessels atrophy, but there is still a small section of residual blood vessel wall attached to the back wall of the vitreous body. When the eyeball rotates, the remaining blood vessel wall also floats, so floaters occur. In addition, with age, the density of the vitreous body in the eyeball becomes thinner, and the glial fibers degenerate and degenerate. The fibers become densely packed together, forming some turbid spots with higher optical density and some liquid spaces with lower optical density, which will cause floaters.

3. You can “turn a blind eye” to the floaters caused by these two physiological conditions and gradually adapt to them. There is currently no effective medicine to remove these “floaters”. In fact, some "floaters" will slowly sink to the bottom of the vitreous body, out of sight, and people will no longer see the "floaters".

4. Middle-aged and elderly people, patients with severe myopia, those who have undergone cataract surgery, or other patients with intraocular inflammation or retinal vascular disease may also develop this disease.

5. However, if the floaters occur suddenly and are limited to one eye, the direction of the floaters is uncertain, there are dark shadows blocking the field of vision, vision deteriorates, and visual field is impaired, these are all signs of disease that must be paid attention to. They indicate that the retina, optic nerve, ciliary body and other structures near the vitreous body have lesions, leading to changes in the vitreous body, and you should see an ophthalmologist in time.
