What should an adult do if his front teeth fall out?

Pay attention to the correct response measures. It is recommended to pick up the adjusted tooth as soon as possible so that it can be used for dental implants. If the tooth falls to the ground and is dirty, rinse it with clean warm water. Do not scrub it and dry it in the sun. It is recommended to soak the tooth in milk or saline and see a doctor in time.

1. Pick up the knocked-out tooth as soon as possible. When picking it up, be sure to hold the crown with your hand to avoid damaging the root.

2. If your teeth are dirty on the ground, rinse them gently with clean water, but do not use soap, do not scrub, do not dry, and do not wrap them tightly with paper towels or cloth.

3. Immediately place the tooth back into the socket (gently push the tooth in with your fingers (for younger children), or place it at the hole, bite the teeth gently, and push the tooth in (for older children). After that, keep holding it with your hands, be gentle, and don't use too much force, until you see the doctor.

4. Keep the teeth moist at all times (if you can't put the teeth into the gums, put them in milk or saline)

5. Go to the dentist within 30 minutes. (This is the ideal time for ex vivo tooth repositioning. As time goes by or the preservation medium is poor, the success rate of repositioning will decrease.)

PS: As long as it is handled properly, not only children’s front teeth can be “saved”, there are also successful cases for adults. There was once a couple who had their front teeth fall out due to a fight, and they successfully replanted them. If reimplantation is not possible, wait for the doctor to handle the situation and then perform other repair methods under the doctor's advice.
