How to effectively treat gallbladder polyps

How to effectively treat gallbladder polyps

The treatment of gallbladder polyps is better through some reasonable medicinal foods and diet. Chinese medicines such as Bupleurum, Trillium, Prunus mume, Bombyx batryticatus, and white mustard are common medication formulas. In addition, you should avoid eating chili peppers and high-cholesterol greasy foods.

1. Wujiang Yisi Decoction: It is composed of 9 grams each of Bupleurum, Amomum villosum, and Trillium, 10 grams each of Citrus aurantium, Prunus mume, Bombyx batryticatus, and Sinapis alba, 30 grams of Coix seed, 15 grams each of White Peony Root and Forsythia suspensa, and 6 grams of Licorice. Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, 3 times. Or make into water pills, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day. Generally, one course of treatment is 2-3 months, and severe cases may require 2-3 courses. For those with severe liver depression, add Citrus aurantium and Cyperus rotundus; for those with severe abdominal distension, add Magnolia officinalis; for those with constipation, add raw rhubarb; for those with main symptoms of blood stasis, add Salvia miltiorrhiza and peach kernel.

In this prescription, Bupleurum can soothe the liver and relieve depression, and dredge the liver meridians; White Peony Root and Licorice can soften the liver, relieve urgency and stop pain, while Citrus Aurantium can promote qi circulation and resolve stagnation; Coix Seed has the effect of resolving phlegm and softening hard masses, and can treat multiple polyps. Bombyx batryticatus can resolve phlegm and dissipate nodules, while white mustard seeds, forsythia suspensa and fennel are good at resolving phlegm and dissipating nodules.

2. Take 10 grams of hawthorn, 10 grams of chrysanthemum and 15 grams of cassia seed, decoct them and drink as tea or green tea.

3. Eat less irritating or spicy foods such as chili peppers and raw garlic.

4. Avoid eating high-cholesterol foods such as eggs (especially egg yolks), fatty meat, seafood, scaleless fish, animal offal, etc.

5. Alcohol and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Alcohol is mainly broken down and detoxified by the liver in the body. Therefore, alcohol can directly damage liver function, cause hepatobiliary dysfunction, and disrupt the secretion and excretion of bile, thereby stimulating the gallbladder to form new polyps or causing the original polyps to grow and become larger.
