Does watching TV cause a lot of radiation to pregnant women?

In fact, this practice is very harmful to the fetus. Someone has conducted a survey on people who work in front of the TV for a long time and found that their health is worse than that of the average person. Among them, 90% of pregnant mothers will experience adverse reactions, which can easily lead to miscarriage and premature birth, and the fetus may also suffer from developmental abnormalities. This is because when the TV is working, the cathode ray tube will continuously emit high-speed electron flow to the fluorescent screen, and will also emit X-rays that are invisible to the naked eye. Although this X-ray is very weak, the harm of long-term exposure should not be underestimated. The fluorescent screen can also produce ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of less than 400 microns, thereby producing ozone. When the indoor ozone concentration reaches 1%, it can cause dry throat, cough, chest tightness, rapid pulse, etc., which directly affect the health of pregnant mothers and fetuses.

In addition, sitting for a long time watching TV will affect the blood circulation in the lower limbs, aggravate lower limb edema, and more easily lead to varicose veins in the lower limbs. The tense plots and thrilling scenes on TV can be called negative stimulation for pregnant mothers, which is detrimental to eugenics. Moreover, watching TV and going to bed too late will hinder the sleep and rest of pregnant mothers. All of this is not good for pregnant mothers and fetuses. Therefore, pregnant mothers should pay attention to the following points when watching TV:

1. Pregnant mothers should not watch TV for more than 2 hours at a time, and should take a few minutes break in the middle.

2. When watching TV, you should stay away from the TV as much as possible. The distance should be greater than 5 diagonals of the screen (that is, the number of inches of the TV).

3. Don’t watch tense or thrilling action movies. Focus on entertainment to avoid affecting the mood of pregnant mothers.

4. When watching TV, open the doors and windows to maintain air circulation, and strictly prohibit smokers around to avoid passive smoking for pregnant mothers. After watching TV, don't forget to wash your face.
