How to treat the harm of high blood lipids, everyone is responsible for protecting health

High blood lipids have great potential harm to our body and can cause a series of complications, the most common of which are coronary heart disease, cerebral infarction, diabetes, etc. Many cardiovascular diseases are caused by high blood lipids. We should pay attention to diet therapy and health care in our daily life.

1. Complications

1. Blood lipids and coronary heart disease

According to statistics, the mortality rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases has exceeded 1/2 of the total mortality rate of the population. Coronary heart disease is also called coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. The coronary artery is an artery that supplies blood to the heart. Due to excessive fat deposition, arteriosclerosis occurs, blood flow is blocked, causing cardiac ischemia and a series of symptoms, namely coronary heart disease. The risk factors for coronary heart disease include: hyperlipidemia, smoking, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, lack of physical activity, excessive mental stress, family history of coronary heart disease, oral contraceptives, etc. Among them, hyperlipidemia is one of the important risk factors for coronary heart disease. Regulating blood lipids is the most basic treatment for preventing and treating coronary heart disease: a 1% decrease in serum total cholesterol level will reduce the incidence of coronary heart disease by 2%. As long as you have coronary heart disease, no matter whether your blood lipids are high or not, you should take lipid-regulating drugs for a long time, because long-term lipid-regulating treatment can reduce the incidence and mortality of angina pectoris and myocardial infarction caused by coronary heart disease.

2. Relationship between blood lipids and cerebral infarction

When the cholesterol in the blood increases, arteriosclerotic plaques are easily formed. These plaques accumulate in the arterial wall, causing the arterial lumen to narrow, blocking blood flow to the corresponding part, causing kinetic energy deficiency. When it occurs in the cerebral blood vessels, it causes cerebral infarction. Medically proven: long-term lipid-lowering therapy can not only treat cerebral infarction, but also prevent cerebral infarction. Lipid-lowering therapy and cerebral stroke: There are many causes of cerebral stroke, including high blood pressure, high blood lipids, smoking, drinking, obesity, old age, diabetes, blood disease, etc. Among them, high blood lipids and cerebral atherosclerosis are one of the important risk factors for cerebral infarction. Many studies have shown that long-term lipid-lowering therapy can significantly reduce the incidence and disability rate of cerebral stroke. Therefore, clinical physicians are paying more and more attention to the treatment of hyperlipidemia.

3. Blood lipids and diabetes

Hyperlipidemia, hypertension and hyperglycemia are called "three highs" and are the main risk factors that threaten the health and life of diabetic patients. The three are closely related. Hyperlipidemia can aggravate diabetes, so in addition to treating hyperglycemia, diabetic patients also need to regulate blood lipids, which is the key to reducing the mortality and disability rates of diabetic patients. Diabetic patients should pay attention to regulating blood lipids: Diabetes combined with hyperlipidemia is more likely to cause cerebral stroke, coronary heart disease, limb necrosis, fundus lesions, kidney lesions, neuropathy, etc. These long-term complications of diabetes are the main causes of disability or premature death in diabetic patients. More than half of diabetic patients have hyperlipidemia. Active treatment of hyperlipidemia is of great benefit to controlling blood sugar and preventing complications. Adjusting blood sugar can improve blood lipids to a certain extent, but to achieve ideal levels, lipid-regulating drug intervention treatment is also required. The treatment status of diabetes and lipid metabolism has become the standard for the quality of disease control in diabetic patients.

2. Diet therapy and health care

1. 1500 grams of holly seeds and appropriate amount of honey. Add water to holly seeds and boil them twice, each time for 1 hour. Remove the residue, combine the two medicinal liquids and concentrate them into a paste. Bake it dry and crush it. Add appropriate amount of honey and mix well. Store in a bottle for later use. At the same time, the daily dosage is equivalent to 50 grams of the raw medicine holly seeds, taken on an empty stomach three times, and one course of treatment is one month. Mainly used to treat hyperlipidemia.

2. 4 large lotus roots, 200 grams of mung beans, and 125 grams of carrots. Wash the mung beans and soak them in water for half a day, drain them, wash the carrots, chop them and mash them, add appropriate amount of white sugar and mix well for later use. Wash the lotus root, cut it off at the end close to the node with a knife, and keep the cut part. Stuff the evenly mixed mung bean and radish paste into the lotus root hole until it is full and tight. Cover the cut part, insert or tie it with bamboo sticks or strings, steam it in water, and eat it as a snack. Eat regularly. Lower blood lipids and soften blood vessels. Mainly used to treat hyperlipidemia.

3. 20 grams of Artemisia capillaris, 15 grams of raw hawthorn, and 15 grams of raw malt. Put the above medicines into a casserole, add appropriate amount of water, boil for 20 minutes, filter and keep the juice, boil for another 20 minutes, remove the residue and take the juice, mix the two decoctions, take twice a day, 100 ml each time, and can be taken for half a month. Clears the liver and promotes bile secretion, clears away heat and eliminates dampness, invigorates the spleen and reduces fat. Mainly used to treat patients with early stage hyperlipidemia.

4. Hawthorn porridge

Ingredients: 30-45 grams of hawthorn (or 60 grams of fresh hawthorn), 100 grams of polished rice, and appropriate amount of sugar.

Preparation: Boil the sandalwood to get the thick juice, remove the residue, and cook it with the washed glutinous rice. When the porridge is almost cooked, add sugar and cook it for 1-2 boils.

Usage: Take as a snack and heat; 10 days is a course of treatment.
