When will wisdom teeth grow?

When will wisdom teeth grow?

In fact, there are certain differences in the age at which wisdom teeth grow for each person, because this is also affected by individual differences. It does not mean that wisdom teeth must grow at a certain age. Some people even grow wisdom teeth in their fifties or sixties.

1. In fact, wisdom teeth are the teeth that grow back in our mouths when we have replaced our teeth as children and grown up when we are eighteen or nineteen years old. It is because by that time, we have all grown up and are full of wisdom, so they are called wisdom teeth.

2. Regarding the age when wisdom teeth grow, each person has individual differences, but there are general rules to follow. Most of them grow in their 20s, but some some grow in their 50s or 60s.

3. Many young people, especially students, if they see that others have grown wisdom teeth but their own have not, they must relax their minds and not think that having wisdom teeth means they are really smart, as there is no scientific basis for this.

4. The number of wisdom teeth is different for each person. Some people have 1, some have 2, but the maximum number is 4. But for some people, wisdom teeth only grow halfway and then stop growing.

5. Regarding the location of wisdom teeth, it is at the innermost part of our mouth. In fact, many people don’t know whether they have wisdom teeth. The easiest way is to open your mouth wide, look in the mirror, and count yourself. If the number of your lower teeth is greater than 14, then the extra ones at the innermost part are wisdom teeth.

6. If you have wisdom teeth, many people will feel a lot of pain. It is very likely that the wisdom teeth are growing in an inappropriate position or at an inappropriate angle. In that case, you should go to the hospital. Generally, doctors will recommend having them removed. Because the pain from wisdom teeth will excessively stress the nerves in the mandible, which is bad for your health.
