Wash and chop the wolfberries; take the Schisandra chinensis processed with vinegar from the pharmacy and wash it; put the ingredients in a thermos cup, pour in boiling water, and drink after it cools down a little. This tea helps to nourish the heart and brain. If you drink it regularly, insomnia symptoms can be greatly improved.

2. Schisandra Honey Drink

30g Schisandra chinensis and 20g honey. Wash the Schisandra chinensis, add appropriate amount of water and boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove the residue and take the juice. When the juice turns warm, add honey, stir well, and take in divided doses. It has the effects of calming the mind, nourishing yin and moistening the intestines. This porridge is suitable for insomnia of liver and kidney yin deficiency type, and is especially suitable for those with palpitations.

3. Wuwei Diqi Tea

5 grams each of Schisandra chinensis, Rehmannia glutinosa, and Lycium barbarum. Crush Schisandra chinensis, cut Rehmannia root into small pieces, put them into a teacup together with wolfberry, brew with boiling water, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink as tea, 1 dose each in the morning and before bedtime. Nourishes the liver and kidneys, calms the mind and soothes the heart. Suitable for insomnia caused by liver and kidney yin deficiency.

4. Schisandra chinensis paste

250 grams of Schisandra chinensis and half a bottle of honey. Soak Schisandra chinensis in clean water for half a day, then add water and boil it. After boiling over high heat, simmer over low heat to allow the juice to slowly concentrate. Then add honey and stir constantly until it is concentrated into a paste. Store in a container and seal it. Take 2 teaspoons each time, once in the morning and once in the evening, on an empty stomach.

5. Five-flavor sour jujube kernel soup

6 grams of Schisandra chinensis (crushed), 15 grams of Ziziphus jujuba seeds (crushed), 20 grams of Poria cocos, and 15 grams of Salvia miltiorrhiza. Take one dose daily, decoct in water twice, mix well and divide into two portions, take warm 2 hours and half an hour before bedtime respectively. It nourishes the heart and soothes the mind, and is mainly used to treat insomnia and nightmares caused by weak heart.

6. Five-flavor pigeon eggs

Decoction 50g of Schisandra chinensis. Boil 30 pigeon eggs, remove the shells, put them into the Schisandra chinensis juice and cook them for a while. Soak them in the juice for 2 days before eating. Eat 3 pigeon eggs each time, 1-2 times a day. It can be taken for 2 weeks. It needs to be boiled before each consumption.

7. Five-flavor yam and longan porridge

100 grams of fresh yam, 15 grams of longan meat, 3 grams of schisandra chinensis, appropriate amount of white sugar, and 50 grams of polished rice. Peel the yam, cut it into thin slices, put it into the pot together with longan and schisandra chinensis, add the washed glutinous rice, add appropriate amount of water, cook porridge, and add sugar to taste. Take 1 dose daily, with breakfast or dinner.

8. Schisandra Cake

Crush Schisandra chinensis into powder and sift for later use, 10 grams at a time, and use 100 grams of glutinous rice flour. After fermentation, add the powder and mix well. Steam it in a steamer and eat it while it is hot before going to bed, once a day. This prescription is more effective for nocturnal emission, frequent dreams, palpitations and insomnia.
