Will skin cancer cause lumps?

Will skin cancer cause lumps?

Skin cancer does not cause lumps, but refers to symptoms such as skin ulceration, asymmetry, and nodular protrusions. If it does not heal for a long time, there will be a small amount of bleeding and skin ulcers, and red skin scars that do not subside for a long time. Therefore, you must pay attention to correct identification.

1. The symptoms of skin cancer usually include the following:

First, any symptoms of actinic keratosis such as bleeding, ulceration, or asymmetrical nodules are symptoms of skin cancer.

Second, the symptoms of skin cancer include: skin ulcers that do not heal for a long time or come and go or have a small amount of bleeding.

Third, if red skin scars do not fade for a long time and show mild erosion on them, you should be alert to the possibility of carcinoma in situ, which is also one of the symptoms of skin cancer.

Biopsy: Multiple excisional biopsies are performed on smaller lesions, achieving both diagnosis and treatment at one stroke. If the lesion is slightly larger, especially if the treatment requires the removal of 2 to 3 mm of normal skin outside the lesion edge, and the defect is too large to cause appearance defects, a forceps or incisional biopsy should be performed, remembering to include the proximal edge of the lesion.

Fourth, when ulcers or nodules appear on skin that has been exposed to radiation in the past, old scars, or sinus tracts, these are symptoms of skin cancer.

Second, the following four points should be noted when checking for skin cancer:

1. Asymmetry. Be careful if the shape of the pen is asymmetrical or the surface is not smooth. Malignant melanoma has a bumpy appearance.

2. Edge. The edges of normal moles are mostly smooth, while the edges of malignant melanomas are rough and sometimes have cracks.

3. Color. Malignant melanoma has a distinctive mixture of colors, especially brown or jet black, sometimes mixed with red, white and blue.

4. Diameter. Malignant melanomas with a diameter less than 6MM are rare, so special attention should be paid to larger moles.

Finally, experts pointed out that since skin cancer appears in the human skin, it will cause great inconvenience to patients during the period of skin cancer. At this time, skin cancer patients should find the root of skin cancer treatment and eliminate the incidence of skin cancer from the root, so as not to worry about skin cancer affecting their daily life.
