How long does it take for blood test results to come out?

The time for test results generally varies depending on the items you examine. It is recommended that you check the items you examine first and then consult your doctor. Generally, the results of physical examinations are generally available in three to five days! Whether it is a unified physical examination or an individual physical examination, the results are obtained by the same method, without deviation! Finally, go to the corresponding department for consultation based on the results of the physical examination! It does not necessarily have to be the hematology department! You can ask the physical examination center which department you need to go to to interpret the physical examination report!

Health Check Blood Test Note:

1. Fasting. It is best not to eat high-protein or greasy foods or drink alcohol the day before blood collection, because these foods and alcohol will directly affect the proportion of blood components, which in turn affects the test results.

2. On an empty stomach. Because the content of substances in a person's blood changes after eating, it is difficult to obtain stable test values after drawing blood on a full stomach. Experts require that the subjects should fast for more than 10 hours from the night before to the next morning. During this time, various chemical substances in the human blood can reach a relatively stable state, ensuring the accuracy of the test results.

People's blood sugar will rise after eating and gradually return to normal after about 2 hours. Therefore, blood sugar testing needs to be done on an empty stomach. The same is true for blood lipid analysis. Since chylomicronemia may occur after eating, which seriously affects the test results, blood draw requires fasting for more than 12 hours.

Things to note after blood test:

1. In order to avoid bleeding from the needle hole, press with a medical cotton swab for three to five minutes after blood is drawn. Never rub it with your hands, otherwise it will cause subcutaneous hematoma. If there is bleeding after compression, the compression time should be prolonged. If congestion occurs at the site of blood drawing, it can be improved by gently applying a hot towel one day later.

2. If you experience the following symptoms after blood drawing, including dizziness, blurred vision, weakness... you should lie down immediately and drink a small amount of sugar water. Wait until these symptoms are relieved before continuing the physical examination.
