Premature heart beats are often called heart rate market in our lives, because irregular heart beats cause heart function disorders. Premature heart beats need to be treated promptly because the heart drives the body's blood to circulate continuously. There are many ways to treat premature heart beats, and they need to be selected based on the patient's physical condition. Western medicine treatment of premature heart beats 1. Patients without heart disease Premature ventricular contractions do not increase mortality. No medical treatment is required for asymptomatic isolated ventricular premature beats, regardless of their morphology or frequency. 2. For premature ventricular contractions associated with organic heart disease The primary disease should be treated. For ventricular premature beats that require emergency treatment, 50-100 mg of lidocaine can be injected intravenously until the premature beats disappear or the total amount reaches 250 mg. After the arrhythmia is corrected, 1-3 mg can be dripped per minute as needed, and oral medication can be used to maintain stability. Lidocaine begins to work within minutes after intravenous injection and lasts for 15 to 20 minutes. Therapeutic doses have little effect on myocardial contractility, blood pressure, and atrioventricular or intraventricular conduction. Side effects include dizziness and drowsiness. Large doses can cause convulsions, respiratory or cardiac depression and may aggravate existing atrioventricular or intraventricular conduction block. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney dysfunction or severe heart failure. 3. Premature ventricular beats caused by digitalis poisoning In addition to drug discontinuation, IV phenytoin sodium or IV potassium chloride is often effective. For premature beats caused by hypokalemia, the cause should be actively eliminated and the hypokalemia should be corrected. 4. Quinidine syncope or premature ventricular contractions during antimony therapy Quinidine or antimonials should be discontinued immediately. Oral medications available: 1) Slow heart rate. 2) Beta-blockers. 3) Digitalis Indicated for ventricular premature beats caused by heart failure rather than digitalis poisoning. 4) Procainamide. 5) Common medicines Amiodarone, disopyramide, propafenone, anthemine, pheniramine, sedrin, ventolin, ethotripsy and encarbamide, etc. 5. The cause of atrial premature beats should be actively treated Remove the cause and treat with the following medications: 1) β-adrenergic receptor blockers Feel at peace. 2) Verapamil The above two types of drugs should not be used by patients with hypotension and heart failure. 3) Digitalis It is suitable for atrial premature beats accompanied by heart failure but not caused by digitalis. The commonly used dosage is 0.25 mg of digoxin, once a day. 4) Quinidine 5) Phenytoin sodium 0.1g 3 times/day. 6) Amiodarone The treatment of atrioventricular junctional premature beats is the same as that of atrial premature beats. If it is ineffective, drugs for treating ventricular premature beats can be tried. |
