My waist hurts after bending for a while

If you experience back pain after bending over for a while, it may be caused by osteoporosis or lumbar vertebral herniation. At this time, the pressure on the lumbar spine will be relatively large, and the force of bending over is too great, requiring support from the waist, which will aggravate the pain in the waist. Therefore, when back pain occurs, we can pay more attention to rest, and everyone should supplement calcium appropriately.

1. If your lower back hurts when you bend over, it is usually due to lumbar disc herniation. Because the waist is connected to the lower limbs and the trunk moves a lot, the waist will naturally be involved. Sitting or standing for a long time will require support from the waist, so naturally the back pain will worsen over time. If you get enough rest, the protruding lumbar disc can be repositioned and the pain can be relieved.

2. If the waist pain is accompanied by back pain, or even pain all over the body, this is generally osteoporosis. When osteoporosis is severe, the pain will be aggravated by turning, bending, coughing, or even exerting a little force. The most common symptom of osteoporosis is low back pain, which is often accompanied by pain throughout the body. Middle-aged and elderly people and those who smoke for a long time or use large amounts of hormones are more likely to suffer from osteoporosis.

3. Ankylosing spondylitis can also cause back pain, and the spine may feel stiff even when you wake up in the morning. In addition, if you have digestive system diseases, such as cholecystitis, gastritis, and duodenal ulcer, it can also cause lower back pain. These low back pains generally do not get worse with more activity, but they will not go away just because you get enough rest, and they will not stay with you for a long time.

Note:

To avoid back pain, it is best to maintain a correct sitting posture, sleep on your side, avoid driving for long periods of time, and it is best to maintain a suitable weight to prevent pressure on your waist. If you have already experienced lower back pain, you must promptly reduce the pressure on your lower back, avoid strenuous exercise, and seek medical attention if you feel unwell.
