Steps to brew black tea

Chinese tea ceremony is very influential in the world. In some southern regions, black tea is a famous product and is distributed all over the country. Black tea is a drink suitable for all ages. The steps for making black tea are relatively simple. First, scald the kettle with boiling water, and then use 80℃ water to make tea. The temperature of the tea is just in line with the suitable temperature for the human body, and the aroma of the black tea can be released, so you can enjoy the mellow fragrance of the black tea.

1. Pour fresh cold water into the kettle and boil it: As the water from the tap is full of air, it can fully bring out the aroma of the black tea. Overnight water, twice-boiled water or hot water in a thermos are not suitable for brewing black tea.

2. Add boiling water and warm the pot and cup gradually to prevent the water temperature from changing too much: Usually, the appearance of a teapot is a short and fat round pot body, which allows the tea leaves to fully expand and shake during brewing.

3. Carefully consider the amount of tea: To brew strong tea, use 1 teaspoon per person (about 2.5g of tea leaves). However, if you want to brew good black tea, it is recommended to use 2 cups of black tea leaves (about 5g) to brew 2 cups. This will fully bring out the original flavor of the black tea and you can also enjoy the fun of refills.

4. Pour boiling water into the pot to make tea: About 30 seconds after the water starts to boil and the water splashes into a circle the size of a one-yuan coin, it is most suitable for brewing black tea.

5 Wait patiently for the right brewing time: Because rapid brewing cannot fully release the aroma of the tea, usually professional tea cans will professionally mark the concentration of the tea (Strength), which is related to the brewing time of the tea. For example: the concentration is divided into 1-4 levels, 1 is the weakest and 4 is the strongest), and the brewing time is from 2 minutes to 3 and a half minutes, decreasing in sequence.

6. Pour the brewed tea in the pot into your favorite teacup: Although teacups have various shapes, generally speaking, they have a shallow bottom and a wide mouth, because this allows tea drinkers to fully enjoy the aroma of black tea and appreciate its attractive tea color.

7. Add appropriate amount of sugar or milk according to your taste: If you choose to drink pure black tea, the emphasis is entirely on the nature and original flavor of black tea. The tea leaves used for milk tea generally have a heavier taste and a bit of astringency, but after adding rich milk, the astringency will be reduced and the taste will become richer.
