How to remove mildew spots on clothes

Many people know that as the weather changes, clothes will easily become moldy if they are not stored properly. Generally, after washing, the mold spots on the clothes are difficult to remove, and they can be seen clearly even after drying, so they will directly affect the cleanliness of the entire piece of clothing. Therefore, we need to master some methods to remove mold spots from clothes, so that we don’t have to worry about these mold spots on clothes.

If there are mildew spots on clothes, you can use the following methods to deal with them:

1. Mildew spots appear on cotton clothes: use a few mung bean sprouts, rub the mildew spots repeatedly, then rinse with clean water, and the mildew spots will be removed.

2. If there are mold spots on woolen clothes, put the clothes in the sun for a few hours. After they are dry, just gently brush off the mold spots with a brush. If clothes are moldy due to oil stains or sweat stains, you can use a soft-bristled brush dipped in gasoline to repeatedly scrub the moldy spots, then wipe them repeatedly with a clean towel and place them in a ventilated place to dry.

3. If there are mildew spots on silk clothes, soak the clothes in water and scrub them with a brush. If there are many mildew spots and they are very heavy, you can apply some 5% dilute ammonia water on the mildew spots, wait for 3-5 minutes, and then wash them with clean water. If mildew spots appear on white silk clothes, use 50% alcohol solution and scrub repeatedly several times to quickly remove the mildew spots. 4. If there are mildew spots on leather clothes, you can first use a towel dipped in soapy water, wipe it repeatedly, remove the dirt, then immediately scrub it with clean water, then dry it, and then apply a layer of jacket oil. 5. If there are mildew stains on synthetic clothes, scrub them with a brush dipped in strong soapy water, then rinse them with warm water and the mildew stains can be removed.

Especially on south windy days, because clothes are not easy to dry and if you don't take drying measures regularly, it is easy for mold to grow on clothes. So in order to better preserve your clothes, you can use the above methods to remove mold spots. At the same time, you must pay attention that the clothes must not be wet before you pack them up.
