How to remove oil stains from clothes

How to remove oil stains from clothes

In our daily lives, we often accidentally find that there is an oil stain on our clothes. This situation makes us feel particularly distressed, because we find that it is not only very difficult to clean, but the color of the oil stain will only become lighter and it cannot be completely removed. In such a situation, we might as well try the following method.

1. For new stains, you can wipe the stain with turpentine or banana water, and then wipe it with gasoline. For old stains, soak the stained area in 10-20% ammonia or borax solution to dissolve the condensate and then brush it clean. 2. For clothes stained with paint or spray paint, apply a small amount of cooling oil on the front and back of the clothes, and after a few minutes, use a cotton ball to rub along the warp and weft texture of the fabric a few times, and the paint stain will be gone. One-day paint stains can also be removed in this way. Just apply some cooling oil and the paint will wrinkle on its own and can be peeled off. Then wash the clothes again and the paint stains will disappear.

2. If there are oil stains on silk clothes, you can mix talcum powder into a paste and apply it to the oil stain. After leaving it for a while, peel off the talcum powder, then put thin paper on the silk and iron it flat with a not too hot electric iron.

3. Apply the superior oil evenly to the oily areas. After 3-5 minutes, wash normally.

4. If oil is accidentally dropped on clothes, keep the clothes dry before washing. Then drop some detergent on the oil spots and rub them a few times. There will be no oil stains after washing.

Through the above introduction, we now know how to deal with oil stains on clothes, especially when the oil stains have just appeared, it is also the best time to remove them. We must clean them in time. When cleaning, we must choose the appropriate treatment method according to the type of oil stains and the fabric of the clothes, and pay attention to the strength of the force used.
