How to wash dye off clothes

How to wash dye off clothes

Usually, many of our children like to draw. Especially when they are learning to draw, they accidentally spill paint all over their bodies. And when washing clothes after the children have drawn, they find that the paint is particularly difficult to wash off. This situation makes mothers particularly distressed. It is impossible to throw away the clothes every time the children finish drawing. However, there are ways to remove the paint from the clothes. Let us learn about it together.

1) If dye gets on clothes, wipe it with dilute acetic acid first, and then rinse it with hydrogen peroxide. You can also scrub it with turpentine and then wipe it with gasoline. Finally, rinse with clean water.

2) Use some aged vinegar to wash the stained area.

3) Potassium permanganate and acetic acid. The method is to first dissolve a little potassium permanganate in water, and then put the clothes to be rinsed in it. Make sure they are fully soaked. After soaking for 10 to 20 minutes, the clothes will turn dark red. Pick up the clothes and rinse them with clean water; then dissolve a little acetic acid in water, put the clothes soaked in potassium permanganate into the acetic acid solution, the clothes will slowly change from dark red to the original color, and the stained areas will also fade without damaging the original color of the clothes. Sometimes this method can also be used for clothes that turn yellow.

4) Wet the dyed area with water. Then apply edible salt all over it. Rub it gently with your hands repeatedly. The dyed color will disappear, and then wash it with clean water.

Through the above introduction, we can understand what method to use to clean the clothes after the children draw and the paint on them. This method is generally very effective, but we must wash it as early as possible, and the above method must be used according to the amount of paint when using the material. Too little will not be effective, and too much will be bad for the clothes.
