Where are the acupuncture points on the shoulders?

When people reach middle age or old age, they often experience shoulder pain. Once these symptoms appear, they will inevitably affect their healthy life. Therefore, middle-aged and elderly people should protect their shoulders. The most important thing is to keep warm. In addition, they should do more shoulder and neck exercises, and then do more shoulder and neck acupoint massage. So where are the shoulder acupoints in the human body?

Acupuncture points on the shoulders:

1. Fengfu Point

Location of the acupoint: at the back of the head, upward from the middle of the back, at the edge of the hair. If you have pain or numbness in the back of your head, massaging this area can effectively relieve it.

Separate your hands slightly and gently press the acupoints along the spine at the back of your neck. "Wind" refers to the wind qi and blood in the acupoint. "Fu" means residence. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the Qi of the Du meridian absorbs moisture and turns into wind at the Fengfu point, so stimulating this point has the function of dissipating heat and absorbing moisture.

2. Fengchi Point

There are two Fengchi points, also at the back of the head. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the qi and blood in the gallbladder meridian absorb heat here and turn into yang heat and wind. Fengchi point has the effect of strengthening yang and invigorating qi. If you suffer from headaches, dizziness, and tinnitus, you can massage this acupoint more often. People who often suffer from migraines can also pay attention to this acupoint.

3. Zhongzhu Point

Zhongzhu is located between the little finger and the ring finger, about 2 cm below (on the wrist side). When you touch it with your fingers, it is approximately in the depression between the phalanges of the little finger and ring finger.

4. Yangchi Point

Yangchi is located in the center of the wrist, close to the little finger side. To be more specific, it means to curl up your fingertips. Each finger will form very thick tendons at the wrist. The place where the thick tendons of the middle finger and ring finger cross to the wrist is the location of Yangchi.

5. Guanchong Point

Guanchong is located at the lower end of the ring finger nail, close to the little finger side. To be precise, you should draw a straight line on the left side of the ring finger nail and a horizontal line at the bottom of the nail. The place where these two lines intersect is Guanchong.

6. Hegu Point

Use the first joint horizontal line of the thumb of one hand to align with the base of the other hand, then bend the thumb and press down. The place where the fingertip points is the Hegu point. Pressing the Hegu point can relieve headaches and eye pain that often occur from sitting in the office for a long time.

7. Zusanli acupoint

The Zusanli point is located on the outer side of the calf, three inches below the knee. Stiffness and soreness in the waist, and even stomach discomfort caused by sitting for a long time, can be adjusted by massaging the Zusanli acupoint.
