What is chest pain?

Chest pain is like a sharp knife suddenly stabbing into the body, making you feel unwell. However, some people don’t care at all and don’t take it seriously at all. But later on, the pain becomes more and more serious. What’s going on? They think it’s just a heart problem. In fact, it’s not just that. As the saying goes, a single move affects the whole body. Sometimes, it’s very likely that something is wrong with your body, but you are unaware of it. At this time, you should pay attention. So what exactly is causing the chest pain?

In fact, most patients who visit cardiologists have chest pain due to other illnesses.

Chest wall pain is also called musculoskeletal pain: the pain is concentrated in one point and the patient can point it out clearly. The pain does not last long, usually only one or two seconds each time, and there is a chance of recurrence. The patient experiences stabbing or even severe pain in the chest when taking a deep breath, coughing, sneezing or turning around. The pain may be more severe than chest pain caused by other diseases, but most cases improve within a few days to two or three weeks. Any age can get it.

Cause: The patient sprains the cartilage between the ribs and becomes inflamed, i.e. costochondritis, which is one of the more common chest wall pain diseases.

Inflammation caused by viruses such as influenza is called Tietze's syndrome. (The flu itself can also cause bone pain all over the body.

Broken ribs are less common but are also the most painful.

Treatment: The inflamed area will heal on its own without medication, but a doctor may prescribe analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen).

If your ribs are broken you can only wait for the wound to heal on its own.

There is no need to take antibiotics as they have no effect on viruses.

Hey, the above are the reasons for sudden chest pain. After reading the above, I believe that the majority of patients and friends have a little understanding of this. If you find yourself feeling unwell, go to the hospital immediately. Health is no small matter. I suggest that you insist on drug treatment unless the condition is very serious, because surgery will bring certain impacts and deal a heavy blow to the body, so health is the greatest asset. I wish my friends good health!
