How to treat mild varicose veins

Mild varicose veins are a common disease. Most patients suffer from simple superficial varicose veins in the lower limbs due to long-term heavy physical labor and long-term standing work. Its main symptoms are that the surface blood vessels are varicose like earthworms and protrude significantly from the skin. If mild varicose veins are not treated promptly, they can cause skin ulcers and threaten our health. So now let me introduce to you some methods of treating mild varicose veins.

1. General treatment: Avoid standing for long periods of time, and raise the affected limb to rest when sleeping or sitting to relieve congestion and pain. People with ulcers should stay in bed. Applying an elastic bandage or wearing compression stockings can improve venous return. A diet high in protein and rich in vitamin C helps ulcers heal.

2. Physical therapy: The ulcer wound can be irradiated with ultraviolet light, helium-neon laser or low-dose X-ray to promote healing.

3. Surgery: Surgical stripping therapy is used to treat varicose veins in the lower legs. It causes great pain to patients, is costly, and leaves scars and complications, which are difficult for patients to accept.

4. Minimally invasive therapy: one-time treatment, no scars; no surgery, no pain; purely green, zero harm.

5. If you work while standing for a long time, it is always okay to squat down a few times when you have time. No matter how busy a person is, this kind of activity is possible. If conditions permit, wearing elastic stockings or elastic bandages while working is the best preventive measure.

6. If the unit where you work does not have work breaks, you can do some activities within your ability without affecting your work. The simplest and most effective activity is to squat and then stand up, repeating it several times. This can help accelerate the return of venous blood in the lower limbs and reduce venous pressure. Physical exercises during class breaks and during work breaks are preventive measures and people should actively participate in them.

After reading the above, I believe that most patients with mild varicose veins will be delighted, as they finally know how to treat this disease. But we must also take precautions in our daily lives. For the sake of our health, we should avoid standing for long periods of time. If we work for a long time, we should do some simple stretching activities to avoid blood circulation problems.
