Choose the style

Good quality pistachios should have yellow skin, purple coating, green kernel, and large, full grains. The common white pistachios are bleached and harmful to the human body, so it is best to eat less. The shells of good pistachios have a natural luster and the kernels are naturally green. Generally speaking, larger pistachios have a better texture and are chewier than smaller ones. The cracks on good pistachios are the result of the kernel naturally expanding after it has matured and become full. However, the cracks on some artificially opened pistachios are larger in the shell and smaller in flesh, making them of inferior quality.

The hard outer layer of pistachio is the peel, and the inside is the kernel. The kernel emits fragrance after roasting, which is the part we eat. The more you chew, the stronger the fragrance becomes, and the aftertaste is endless. Because pistachios are shelled dried fruits and are easily damp and spoiled, try to choose those in sealed packages and do not buy them in bulk. Pay attention to choosing products with the QS quality and safety mark on the packaging. It is best to buy some trustworthy big brands, such as "Qia Qia" and other well-known dry goods brands.

Pistachios are not native to China. Although they are now cultivated in Xinjiang and other places, the better quality ones are still imported. By choosing a more well-known origin, you can also choose good pistachios that you can rely on.

It is worth mentioning that pistachios have anti-aging effects and can enhance physical fitness. But it doesn't mean that people can eat pistachios without restraint in their daily lives.
