Black mole turns into cancer because of doing this often

Ms. Hu (pseudonym), 60 years old, was diagnosed with melanoma in the Dermatology Department of Wuhan Central Hospital. The melanoma has metastasized to the subcutaneous part of her right foot and right abdominal wall. Currently, she can only receive conservative treatment. The culprit turned out to be a black mole that had been growing on the sole of his left foot since childhood. The black mole that had been on the sole of his foot since childhood turned into cancer after multiple foot massages. It is reported that melanoma is a cancer of the skin. Melanoma in Oriental people often grows on the soles of the feet and palms, which are easily irritated by friction and compression. People are concerned that mole cancer may turn into a malignant tumor, but removing moles to aggravate symptoms can help improve the prevention and treatment of this disgusting cancer.

Why does a black mole suddenly turn into melanoma? The chief physician of the hospital's plastic surgery department explained that this may be related to high temperature and massage stimulation. Melanoma is a cancer of the skin. If not detected and treated in time, the cancer cells will grow into the bones, or metastasize to the lymph nodes, brain and lungs, threatening life. Melanoma in Oriental people often grows on the soles of the feet and palms, which are easily irritated by friction and compression. Doctors remind people that if they have moles in these areas, they must not be picked or pressed. Instead, they should go to the hospital for diagnosis, and newborns should be treated as early as possible.

In medicine, cancer refers to a malignant tumor originating from epithelial tissue and is the most common type of malignant tumor. Correspondingly, malignant tumors originating from mesenchymal tissue are collectively called sarcomas. There are a few malignant tumors that are not named according to the above principles, such as nephroblastoma, malignant teratoma, etc. When people generally refer to "cancer", they usually refer to all malignant tumors.

A tumor is a new organism formed when the cells of local tissues lose normal regulation of their growth at the genetic level under the action of various tumorigenic factors, resulting in abnormal proliferation and differentiation. Once a neoplasm is formed, it will not stop growing even if the cause is eliminated. Its growth is not subject to normal physiological regulation of the body, but instead it destroys normal tissues and organs. This is particularly evident in malignant tumors. Compared with benign tumors, malignant tumors grow faster and more invasively. They are prone to bleeding, necrosis, ulcers, etc., and often metastasize to distant places, causing weight loss, weakness, anemia, loss of appetite, fever, and severe organ damage, ultimately leading to the death of the patient.

What are the symptoms of worsening moles?

Xinhua Health Information said that everyone can find black moles of varying sizes on their body. Some of these moles will not change for many years, while others can endanger a person's life. This is malignant melanoma. Generally, if a mole has the following changes, it indicates the possibility of malignant melanoma:

1. Mottled colors are often a sign of malignant lesions. Freckle-type and superficial spreading malignant melanomas often have red, white or blue mixed in with brown or black, among which blue is an ominous sign.

2. The edges are often jagged and serrated.

3. The surface is not smooth, generally very rough, and accompanied by scaly or flaky desquamation, and sometimes exudate or bleeding.

4. The surrounding skin becomes swollen or loses its original luster and turns white or gray.

5. There is often itching, burning or tenderness in the local area. When the mole continues to develop into an ulcerative lesion, it will be accompanied by exudation, bleeding, and the tingling or burning sensation will become more obvious.

6. Nodules may appear around the mole or accompanied by regional lymph node enlargement, which are manifestations of the middle and late stages.
