4 physical signs that you won’t live long

Treat your body well and you will have a healthy body. However, as time goes by, the aging body is not so "obedient". From loose skin to gastrointestinal bloating, in severe cases, failure to pay attention to these tiny details can lead to death. Recently, American medical scientists have specifically studied four phenomena that indicate the beginning of aging of the body and shortening of life, and have proposed effective solutions.

1. Unexpected dry mouth

As you age, do you often feel that your tongue is as dry as sandpaper? Studies have found that more than half of people over 65 years old experience dry mouth. This shows that saliva secretion is decreasing, and saliva plays a vital role in the human body - it not only helps you lubricate food when eating, but also is a key substance that inhibits the causes of tooth atrophy and bad breath. In fact, dry mouth is a sign of aging. Solution: When you have nothing to do, you can hold a piece of candy in your mouth, preferably one with low sugar content, which will help stimulate the secretion of the salivary glands. If you drink enough water (8 glasses or more) every day but still experience severe dry mouth, it's time to consult a doctor. Matthew, a consultant to the American Dental Association, believes that many elderly people take medications that can cause dry mouth as a side effect. If this is the case, talk to your doctor and try switching medications.

2. Warts

Warts, also known as soft fibroma or soft warts, are a benign tumor with a pedicle. It looks like a small thorn in the flesh. It often occurs in places where the skin rubs against each other, such as the eyelids, neck and armpits. Surveys show that about 1/4 of adults will face the problem of warts, and middle-aged and elderly people are the most prone to them. Solution: Jenny Kim, MD, of the University of California, Los Angeles, believes that the surgeon's special scissors and specialized electronic probes can remove warts painlessly and without leaving any marks. Although it is not difficult to remove warts, doctors emphasize that you should never perform surgery on yourself at home.

3. Varicose blood vessels

Those are the messy blood vessels that can be clearly seen on the surface of the skin. As you age, the fine red or blue blood vessels on your face and legs become more visible. Solution: The best approach is prevention. Experts suggest that you should often raise your legs when resting to promote blood circulation in your legs. Also, try to avoid wearing tight pants and shoes.

4. Gastrointestinal flatulence

The older you get, the worse your digestion becomes. Food that stays in the stomach and intestines for too long is broken down by bacteria into excess gas. For older people, gas in the stomach will slowly accumulate in the lower part of the colon and then wait for an opportunity to escape from the body. While this is harmless, it often gives you the embarrassment of "polluting the air in public." Solution: Some foods are prone to causing gas, such as soybeans, beans, cabbage and cauliflower, but they are good for your body, so don't stop eating them. In this case, enhancing digestion is the key, and consuming more foods rich in probiotics such as yogurt and fermented black beans. Studies have shown that most people can effectively reduce gastrointestinal bloating by taking bacterial supplements for 4 weeks. In addition, chewing slowly instead of eating quickly is also an effective way to reduce gastrointestinal burden.
