Specific method of foaming dried sea cucumber

1. Soak: Put pure water in a clean, oil-free container, put in the dried sea cucumber, with the amount of water enough to cover the sea cucumber. Soak for 24 hours, and change the pure water every 12 hours. The standard for soaking is that the sea cucumber can be easily bent at a large angle.

2 Cleaning: Cut open the belly of the sea cucumber along the incision direction, remove the sand mouth on the head, and cut the white tendons attached to the inner wall of the sea cucumber from the middle, clean the inside of the sea cucumber. It is best to clean the sea cucumber with the incision facing downwards.

3 Boil: Put the cleaned sea cucumber and cold water into a clean, oil-free pot at the same time. The water should cover the sea cucumber by about 5-10cm. First, boil the water over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low (just until bubbles appear on the surface of the water) and cook for 30-50 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer without opening the lid until the sea cucumbers are naturally cooled, then remove the steamed sea cucumbers. For the sea cucumbers that are not steamed, continue to steam them for the second time, using the same method as above (cook over low heat for 10-30 minutes) until all the sea cucumbers are out of the pot.

4 Soak in water: Put all the sea cucumbers out of the pot into 0-degree pure water, add a lot of ice cubes and put them in the refrigerator. Keep the warm water at around 0 degrees. The water should cover the sea cucumbers by about 10cm. Start soaking in water to soak. Change the pure water and ice cubes every 8 hours. Generally, after about 2-3 days, the sea cucumbers can be soaked and used.
