Acute toxicity

It is moderately toxic. The oral LD50 of rats is 251 mg/kg, and no death was observed at a percutaneous dose of 1600 mg/kg. The inhalation LC50 is >0.048 mg/L. The intravenous injection of rats is 6 mg/kg; the oral LD50 of mice is 82 mg/kg; and the percutaneous LD50 of rabbits is >2400 mg/kg. Oral LD50 for birds>2000mg/kg, highly toxic to fish, extremely toxic to bees and silkworms. Acute poisoning in animals manifests as ataxia, unstable gait, and occasional tremors, and survivors return to normal after 3 days. This product is irritating to the skin and mucous membranes.

Highly effective chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxin, and its mode of action is generally contact and stomach poison. The skin may feel stinging at the site of contact, especially around the mouth and nose, but there is no erythema. Rarely causes systemic poisoning. Large amounts of exposure may cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, trembling hands, whole body convulsions or seizures, coma, and shock.

Cypermethrin is a new type of pyrethroid insecticide. It has contact and stomach poisoning effects, but no systemic or fumigating effects. It has a broad insecticide spectrum, rapid efficacy, and is stable to light and heat. It has a killing effect on the eggs of certain pests.

For oral poisoning, induce vomiting, gastric lavage, catharsis, and keep warm. Gastric lavage fluid can be 2%-5% sodium bicarbonate solution, alkaline solution to accelerate decomposition. For inhalation poisoning, acetylcysteine ​​can be inhaled by nebulization for 15 minutes

Special treatment: Type 2 cypermethrin poisoning can be diluted with 10-15 ml of 3% sodium nitrite injection or 50 ml of 25%-50% sodium thiosulfate injection and then slowly injected intravenously.
