Bone hyperplasia in finger joints

Bone hyperplasia in finger joints

Bone hyperplasia is an orthopedic disease we often see. It is a symptom of bone deformation caused by destruction of existing bones. There is a high possibility of bone hyperplasia occurring in the finger joints. When bone hyperplasia occurs in the finger joints, the patient's fingers will show symptoms of swollen joints in the early stage. When the disease progresses seriously, a series of more serious phenomena such as joint pain and joint effusion will also appear. Therefore, patients should be treated in the early stage.

The early treatment for bone hyperplasia in the finger joints is generally to take medication to inhibit the progression of the disease, but patients often develop the disease seriously because they do not pay attention to changes in their bodies. Many patients with serious conditions will undergo surgery to treat bone hyperplasia in the finger joints.

There is currently no effective cure, the only solution is to supplement more calcium.

To prevent bone hyperplasia, you should pay attention to the following aspects: avoid long-term strenuous exercise. Long-term, excessive, and strenuous exercise or activities are one of the basic causes of bone hyperplasia. Especially for weight-bearing joints (such as knee joints and hip joints), excessive movement increases the stress on the joint surface and intensifies wear. Long-term strenuous exercise can also cause excessive stress and traction on the bones and surrounding soft tissues, resulting in local soft tissue damage and uneven stress on the iliac bones, leading to bone hyperplasia.

Do appropriate physical exercise. Avoiding long-term strenuous exercise does not mean inactivity. On the contrary, proper physical exercise is one of the good ways to prevent bone hyperplasia. Because the nutrition of articular cartilage comes from synovial fluid, and synovial fluid can only enter the cartilage by "squeezing", promoting the metabolism of cartilage. Appropriate exercise, especially joint exercise, can increase the pressure in the joint cavity, which is conducive to the penetration of synovial fluid into cartilage, reduce the degenerative changes of articular cartilage, and thus reduce or prevent bone hyperplasia, especially the hyperplasia and degenerative changes of articular cartilage. Therefore, the method of bone hyperplasia rehabilitation lies in exercise, the significance of which is to eliminate or reduce the pain in the hyperplastic area and the functional impairment caused by it, to maximize the restoration of their ability to live and work, and to improve and enhance the quality of life of patients.

Bone hyperplasia may have a negative impact on the patient's life, so once it is discovered in the early stages, it should be treated promptly to avoid more serious consequences due to untimely treatment. The above-mentioned methods have a very obvious effect on preventing bone hyperplasia, so in order to avoid the occurrence of bone hyperplasia, we should actively carry out preventive work.
