(1) Eat less or no pickled vegetables Pickled vegetables contain large amounts of nitrite and secondary amines, which, under the action of suitable acidity in the stomach or bacteria, can synthesize nitrosamine compounds, which are strong carcinogens. Therefore, food should be kept fresh and refrigerated. (2) Avoid or limit the consumption of smoked and fried foods Smoked fish and smoked meat contain large amounts of carcinogens, such as 3-4 benzopyrene and cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Fried, baked, burnt foods and reused high-temperature cooking oils also contain such carcinogens and should be consumed as little as possible. (3) Do not eat moldy food In daily life, we often encounter moldy and spoiled food. Mold is caused by contaminating molds. Some of the molds are toxin-producing fungi and are strong carcinogens. At the same time, certain foods produce a large amount of nitrite and secondary amines under the action of toxin-producing fungi. After entering the body, under certain conditions, the stomach can synthesize nitrosamine compounds and cause cancer. (5) Develop good eating habits If you eat at irregular times and in irregular quantities, overeat, or eat too fast or too hot, it will cause damaging stimulation to the stomach and is related to the occurrence of gastric cancer. At the same time, high salt intake and sulking during meals are also related to gastric cancer. (6) Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits Eat more foods containing vitamins A, B, and E, and increase protein intake appropriately to help protect the gastric mucosa. (7) Protect the sanitation of drinking water Because polluted water sources contain a variety of carcinogenic metal ions, you must use regular tap water, and try to use well water in rural areas.
(8) Actively treat precancerous lesions Atrophic gastritis is closely related to gastric cancer and is a precancerous lesion; 5-10% of gastric cancers are caused by the malignant transformation of gastric ulcers; multiple adenomatous polyps of the stomach are more likely to become cancerous than single polyps, and polyps with a diameter of more than 2 cm show a tendency to become malignant; pernicious anemia also has a certain relationship with gastric cancer. Therefore, people suffering from atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer, multiple adenomatous polyps of the stomach, and pernicious anemia must go to the hospital for regular examination and treatment to eliminate precancerous lesions and prevent the occurrence of gastric cancer. |
