When patients are infected with Mycoplasma pneumoniae, there are no obvious symptoms in the early stage of the disease. Only when the disease develops to a certain stage will symptoms such as headache, fever, and other discomforts appear. The first part affected is the patient's respiratory tract. Therefore, Mycoplasma pneumoniae patients are generally accompanied by symptoms such as coughing and sputum. Some severe patients will also have blood in their sputum. Generally speaking, Mycoplasma pneumoniae outbreaks occur more frequently when the weather is cold, and teenagers and children are more likely to be affected. Therefore, these two groups of people should exercise more often to improve their resistance. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is the causative agent of mycoplasmal pneumonia in humans. The pathological changes of mycoplasma pneumonia are mainly interstitial pneumonia, sometimes complicated by bronchopneumonia, which is called primary atypical pneumonia. It is mainly transmitted through droplets, with an incubation period of 2 to 3 weeks, and the highest incidence rate is among adolescents. The clinical symptoms are mild or even absent. If there are any, they are only general respiratory symptoms such as headache, sore throat, fever, and cough. A positive result for Mycoplasma pneumoniae cannot be used as a basis for diagnosis. It only indicates a previous infection or an asymptomatic infection. It is recommended that: 1. Check blood routine. If the blood count is high, continue to use azithromycin or penicillins. 2. This infection may have little to do with the last cold, so medication needs to be used again. The treatment time needs to be longer, not less than 5 days. Each treatment must be thorough, otherwise it is easy to relapse. Mycoplasma pneumoniae-positive physical examination showed mild nasal congestion, runny nose, and moderate pharyngeal congestion. The eardrum is often congested, and about 15% have myringitis. The cervical lymph nodes may be enlarged. A few cases present with maculopapular rash, erythema, or herpes labialis. There are generally no obvious abnormal signs in the chest. Dry or wet rales can be heard in about half of the cases, and a small amount of pleural effusion occurs in about 10% to 15% of the cases. Once a disease like Mycoplasma pneumoniae is discovered, it must be treated immediately. Antibacterial drugs are generally used during the treatment process. If the patient does not receive treatment immediately, it will further cause respiratory inflammation. In addition, for children who are positive for Mycoplasma pneumoniae, the use of medication must be cautious. |
