If you can't tell which one is which, you can just close both of them, then turn on the faucet that can supply hot water to the hot water side, and then try the two solar water valves, open them separately, and see which one opens the faucet that supplies hot water and starts to discharge water. This water valve is for hot water, and the other one is for cold water.

If the two water valves are opened separately and no water flows out of the hot water faucet, check if there is a water valve in front of the hot water faucet. Open it if there is. If it still happens, there may be no water in the solar energy. Open the two water valves of the solar energy at the same time. Water should flow out of the hot water faucet. Try to close one water valve. If no water flows out of the hot water faucet, then this water valve is for hot water.

After distinguishing the cold and hot water functions of the two water valves of the solar energy, after each use of water, open the cold water inlet valve to let water into the solar energy. When the water is full and there is water overflowing at the solar energy, close the cold water inlet valve (there is no need to install automatic water supply equipment, only 20 minutes is enough). The hot water valve can be opened all the time, or it can be opened before each use of water, and then open the hot water faucet.
