Exercise methods for lumbar disc herniation

Low back pain is a common and frequently occurring disease. Many people say they have a herniated disc when they have lower back pain. In fact, there are many diseases that cause low back pain. Lumbar muscle strain can cause low back pain, and lumbar joint hyperplasia can cause low back pain. Simple low back pain is usually not caused by lumbar disc herniation. The low back discomfort caused by lumbar disc herniation is usually accompanied by leg pain. At the same time as the pain, there is also a feeling of numbness and swelling in the waist and legs.

Lumbar disc herniation, also known as nucleus pulposus herniation or lumbar disc annulus fibrosus rupture, has been recorded in ancient books for a long time. This disease is mainly caused by the degenerative changes of various parts of the lumbar disc, especially the nucleus pulposus, at a certain age. Under the influence of external factors, the annulus fibrosus of the disc ruptures.

The method currently recognized as the most effective is walking backwards. The fundamental reason is that as a reverse movement, it can effectively force the body's center of gravity to move backward, reduce the lumbar lordosis, and thus correct the posture. (If you have time, you can try walking backwards. When walking backwards, remember to wear flat shoes and walk slowly in small steps. Choose a safe area for backward walking exercises). Walking backwards can force the body's center of gravity to move backwards and correct excessive curvature of the spine. However, walking backwards is not easy to persist and is not very safe. You can also force your center of gravity to move backward when standing. Stand barefoot or in flat shoes, and step on a book about 20 mm thick with the forefoot. This will make your foot higher in the front and lower in the back. This can also force your center of gravity to move backward. You can try it out. The longer you experience it, the better. If you feel that your symptoms have been alleviated, in order to make it easier to persist, you can consider choosing patented negative heel shoes with a higher front and lower back sole, which works on the same principle as backward walking. If you persist in using it in daily life, it is equivalent to extending the posture correction of forcing the center of gravity to move backward to daily life. It can be used as a substitute for backward walking, and it is safer and more conducive to consolidating the effect.

If you have lumbar disc herniation, you can lie on a hard bed and take oral anti-inflammatory analgesics for treatment. In daily life, pay attention to resting your waist, avoid sitting for long periods of time, avoid bending over, and avoid excessive fatigue. This is the key to getting rid of the cause of the disease; you can also exercise more according to the above methods. Lumbar disc herniation is a recurring disease, and more exercise can reduce the number of attacks.
