2. Power-on test method: Use a light-emitting diode and a resistor in series with the tube to be tested. The resistor acts as a current limiter and the resistance value is 220Ω~510Ω. The LED light emitting diode is used to display the working status of the infrared tube being tested. Use a remote control (TV remote control, etc.) to press any key on the remote control. When the LED lights up, the tube being tested is an infrared receiving tube. If it is not lit, it is the infrared transmitting tube.

3. Use a multimeter to measure and identify: You can use the 1kΩ resistance block of a 500-type or other type of pointer-type multimeter to measure the inter-electrode resistance of the infrared pair tube to identify the infrared pair tube. Criteria 1: When the end of the infrared tube is not exposed to light, replace the test leads to measure. The forward resistance of the emitting tube is small, the reverse resistance is large, and when the black test lead is connected to the positive electrode (long pin), the one with a small resistance (1kΩ~20kΩ) is the emitting tube. The receiving tube has large forward and reverse resistance. Criteria 2: When the black test lead is connected to the negative pole (short pin), the one with large resistance is the transmitting tube; when the resistance is small and the pointer of the multimeter swings with the change of light intensity, it is the receiving tube.

1) Measure the forward resistance with the black test lead connected to the positive electrode and the red test lead connected to the negative electrode.

2) High resistance means that the pointer of the multimeter basically does not move.

4. In the actual use process of infrared transmitting tubes, we need to pay special attention to them. It has a great impact on our actual use and the service life of the equipment. Therefore, in the actual use process, we must pay more attention to these issues.

5. Under normal circumstances, the infrared emitting tube is packaged. The hardness of the material is relatively low. Moreover, it does not have high temperature resistance. Therefore, in actual use, it is best to keep the welding point away from the root of the pin for corresponding operations. However, in the actual operation process, it is also necessary to pay attention to the welding temperature and welding time, which must be well controlled. Avoid unnecessary damaging situations.
