Microwave cooking

Microwave cooking

Microwave ovens are an electrical appliance commonly used by modern young people. We can use microwave ovens to heat up unfinished meals in our daily lives, which not only saves food but also brings great convenience to us. During the winter and summer vacations, because there is no one at home to cook for the children, parents can only prepare meals in advance. At noon, the children only need to heat them in the microwave, which is safe and quick.

Imagine if there were no microwave oven, the food would become cold and would have to be cooked again. However, if the parents are not at home and the children are the only ones there, the children do not have the ability to do it by hand and would have to bite the bullet and eat the cold food. It's okay once in a while, but if it happens over time, the children will get sick. Therefore, parents who often go out must have a microwave oven.

Microwave cooking steps:

1. Wash the rice first and put it in a microwave rice cooker specially designed for microwave ovens. Usually, this rice cooker will be given away when you buy a microwave oven. You can soak the rice in warm water for about 15 minutes to soften the rice grains. The soaked rice will be less likely to be raw and will taste better.

2. Then add some water. The water level should be about the same as that of rice in a normal rice cooker.

3. Put the washed rice into the microwave, turn on medium-high/high heat, and cook it at about 800W for about 15 minutes. Adjust the amount of water according to the actual amount of rice. It is generally recommended not to cook too much rice at one time in the microwave.

4. After 15 minutes, do not open it immediately. Let it simmer for a while and you can eat it after about 3 minutes.

5. If cooking with a microwave oven is unsuccessful the first time, it’s okay, you can just make adjustments next time according to the situation. The adjustments can be made by the amount of water and the control of the heat. You can try cooking on medium-high heat for 15 minutes and then on medium heat for 5 minutes. The taste of the rice will be different at different heats.

Microwave ovens are very easy to use. Gas cylinders are now gradually being phased out, not only because of the price but also because of some operating conditions. On the contrary, induction cookers have gradually begun to replace the use of gas tanks. Induction cookers are as convenient as microwave ovens, but although they are convenient, there are still some precautions. Before using them, everyone must first understand those safety issues to be safe.
