However, bees will not actively attack us under normal circumstances. Only when we invade it will it take the so-called protective measures, which is to sting people. What should we do after being stung by a bee? How to reduce the swelling after being stung by a bee?

Being stung by a bee can be very harmful, and the stung area will become red and swollen. You must take timely measures to avoid more serious symptoms. However, we generally don’t take the initiative to do anything. Here we will teach you how to reduce swelling after being stung by a bee.

What to do if you are stung by a bee:

1. When stung by a bee, the local skin will feel pain and itching, accompanied by allergic irritation and local inflammatory reactions such as redness, swelling and heat. If a bee stinger gets into your skin, be sure to remove it.

2. Apply ice to the sting to relieve pain and swelling. If the pain is severe, you can take some painkillers.

3. If there is a tendency to spread, there may be an allergic reaction. You can take some anti-allergic drugs, such as diphenhydramine, promethazine and other anti-allergic drugs.

4. Observe closely for about half an hour. If you find that the patient has difficulty breathing, or the breathing sound becomes rough or there is a wheezing sound, send him to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment immediately.

If you are stung by a bee, take some alkali powder (edible alkali will do) and wet it and apply it to the sting. This method is simple but very effective.

If you are stung by a bee in the wild, if you don't have alkali, you can find a bush called "Jing" (there are many such plants in the wild), crush its leaves (if you don't have tools, you can use stones) and apply it to the stung area.

However, if the situation is too serious, such as being stung by a large group of bees, you should go to the hospital. There is a kind of bee in the wild called a bullfly, which is as long as a thumb and very fat. Not only can it sting people, but it can also kill cows. There is also a kind of wasp that is very powerful.

Summarize the treatment method:

(1) Don't be nervous, stay calm.

(2) If a poisonous stinger has penetrated the skin, remove the stinger first.

(3) Use soapy water, 3% ammonia water, 5-10% sodium bicarbonate water, saline solution, or sugar water to wash the wound.

(4) Apply fresh human milk to the wound several times a day.

(5) Mash Yulu powder or chrysanthemum leaves and apply on the affected area.

(6) If you are stung by a wasp, wash it with vinegar or fresh purslane and squeeze out the juice to apply to the affected area.

(7) Crush garlic or ginger to extract juice and apply it to the affected area.

(8) Choose fresh dandelions, violet yedoensis, seven-leaf clematis, lobelia, etc., wash and mash them, and apply them around the wound. The effect is good.

(9) Apply a circle of dissolved Nantong snake medicine tablets about 2 cm away from the puncture wound. It has the effects of detoxification, pain relief and swelling reduction.

(10) Apply cucumber juice to the affected area several times a day to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

(11) Wash and mash 30 grams of leeks into a paste and apply it to the affected area.

How to reduce swelling after being stung by a bee? Don't be too nervous after being stung by a bee, because bees are not poisonous, but you still need to remove the broken stinger. If you are stung by a wasp, you need to apply soapy water or soda water. Generally, if there are no symptoms within twenty minutes after being stung by a bee, don't worry. At the same time, everyone should learn more common sense in daily life.
