Rosin is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine. It is bitter and warm in nature. It enters the liver and spleen meridians. The traditional Chinese medicine ingredients are white rosin and pine gum, pine resin, pine paste, pine fat, pine gum, asphalt, etc. It can dispel wind and dampness, and has the effects of promoting tissue regeneration, relieving pain, and draining pus and toxins. It is usually used to treat carbuncles, ulcers, scrofula, paralysis, scabies, as well as white baldness and leucorrhea in women, thromboangiitis obliterans, and sprains. However, liver medicines should not be taken for a long time, and those with blood deficiency or internal heat should not take them.

The main ingredients of rosin for treating pediatric eczema include rosin, calcined gypsum, alum, realgar, borneol, etc. It needs to be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide solution first, and then the medicine is applied, and then bandaged with gauze. It should be changed once a day, which is beneficial for the treatment of pediatric eczema. During the treatment, keep the skin clean and hygienic, avoid scratching or rubbing to prevent skin infection, and change into clean clothes every day.

To treat boils with rosin, heat and dissolve rosin powder and ethanol, then seal the bottle for later use. When needed, use a clean cotton swab to dip a small amount of the liquid and apply it to the affected area. This is usually effective in treating boils.
