Symptoms of benign ovarian tumors: Benign ovarian tumors usually have no symptoms when the tumor diameter is less than five centimeters. They are only discovered during physical examinations. If the tumor gradually grows to more than five centimeters, it will compress the bladder and cause symptoms of frequent urination and urgency, and compress the rectum and cause diarrhea and constipation. There will also be a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, which may gradually worsen or be more obvious during sexual intercourse. If the tumor pedicle is twisted or ruptured, it will cause sudden and severe abdominal pain, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, etc. Once this happens, emergency surgery is required. Ovarian cysts should be checked regularly. If the cyst persists for more than two months or causes symptoms, it needs to be resolved through surgery.
