What is it like to have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and how to treat it

The biggest cause of lymphoma may be excessive stress. So what does non-Hodgkin's lymphoma look like and how is it treated?

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is a malignant lymphoma. In my country, the proportion of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in malignant lymphoma is much higher than that of Hodgkin's disease HD. In many countries, the incidence of NHL has a certain upward trend. The possible reasons can be roughly summarized as follows:

① AIDS organ transplantation, rheumatoid arthritis, hereditary immunodeficiency and other immune dysfunctions;

② Viruses such as adult T-lymphoma virus, HTLV, HIV, B virus, EBV, etc.;

③ Chemical substances such as pesticides and hair dyes;

④Others, such as radiation exposure and HD treatment. The clinical manifestations and treatments of NHL pathological types far exceed those of HD. From the existing data, the complexity, clinical manifestations and treatments of NHL pathological types are a very heterogeneous group of diseases. So far, the overall treatment rate is also lower than that of HD.

Treatments for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma include: 1. Chemotherapy. Lymphoma chemotherapy mainly uses combined chemotherapy, which can be combined with targeted therapy drugs and biological agents. In recent years, chemotherapy regimens for lymphoma have been greatly improved, and the survival of many types of lymphoma has also been greatly improved.

2. Radiotherapy: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is also sensitive to radiotherapy, but the recurrence rate is high. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with primary lesions in the tonsils, nasopharynx, or histiocytic type originating from bones can achieve relatively satisfactory long-term remission after local radiotherapy.

3. Diet therapy. During the treatment, the intake of protein and sugar should be appropriately increased, such as eating more lean pork, beef, chicken, fish, etc.; eating more fresh vegetables and fruits, such as cabbage, cabbage, watermelon, kiwi, apple, pear, strawberry, etc.; eating more foods such as tofu, soy milk, pulp, bean sprouts and other soy products; eating more foods rich in vitamin C and oranges.
