Is poorly differentiated lung cancer easy to treat?

Poorly differentiated lung cancer, also known as poorly differentiated lung cancer, is a disease that is not easy to cure. Once it occurs, targeted therapy, chemotherapy drugs, and surgery can be used for treatment.

1. Targeted therapy

Combined with the condition of poorly differentiated lung cancer patients, targeted treatment can be used. Generally, tumor tissue or cell mutant genes are used as targets, and drugs that inhibit tumor cells are selected. Commonly used drugs include erlotinib hydrochloride tablets and gefitinib tablets. Reasonable use of drugs can improve the chemotherapy effect in the late stage and prolong the median progression time of tumors. Some patients are prone to adverse reactions such as rash, diarrhea and nausea after taking the drugs, and severe patients need to stop treatment immediately.

2. Chemotherapy

Cisplatin is cytotoxic and can effectively inhibit the replication of cancer cells, thereby preventing the growth of cancer cells. It can be used to treat poorly differentiated lung cancer. This drug has certain renal toxicity and can cause adverse reactions such as trace hematuria after use. Some patients may also suffer from irreversible renal damage. Drinking more water during medication can improve adverse reactions such as vomiting.

3. Surgical treatment

Once poorly differentiated lung cancer occurs, it can be treated with radical resection, which can completely remove cancer cells infiltrating tissues and clear the corresponding lymph nodes. This surgical method can completely remove cancer cells, and the recurrence rate after surgery is low, but it requires a high level of physical condition from the patient. Patients need to have regular follow-up examinations after surgery to facilitate doctors to adjust subsequent treatment plans.

Poorly differentiated lung cancer requires active treatment and good care, with regular follow-up examinations during the recovery period. If any abnormality is detected, medical treatment should be sought promptly.
