What causes nosebleeds in advanced lung cancer?

There are many reasons for nose bleeding in advanced lung cancer. It may be caused by lung tumors, dry nasal cavity, nasal mucosal erosion and bleeding, or ruptured blood vessels in the nasal cavity. Some are caused by sinus neoplasms, such as hemangiomas, inverted papilloma or nasopharyngeal malignancies, and a few are related to blood diseases. For example, abnormal coagulation function, thrombocytopenia and leukemia.
