What are the early symptoms of lymphoma in different parts of the body?

The early symptoms of lymphoma are mainly swollen lymph nodes that can be felt on the body. In the early stage, they are painless and itchy, so they are often ignored. About 60% of lymphomas are first found in swollen lymph nodes in the neck. At first, only one swollen node is enlarged, but gradually the number increases and the swelling becomes larger. Lymphoma can also invade organs outside the lymphatic system, manifesting as invasion, destruction, compression or obstruction of the corresponding organs.

1. The symptoms of gastrointestinal lymphoma are similar to those of gastric cancer and intestinal cancer, including abdominal pain, gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding, obstruction, compression, etc.

2. Cutaneous lymphoma is often misdiagnosed as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, etc.; when it invades the nasopharynx, it may cause nasal congestion, runny nose, nose bleeding, etc., which are similar to the manifestations of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

3. Invasion of bones can cause bone pain and fractures;

4. Invasion of the brain may cause headaches, blurred vision, speech disorders, confusion, personality changes, sensory and motor disorders of some parts of the body and limbs, and even paralysis;

Early symptoms of lymphoma may occur in lymphatic tissues throughout the body, such as the chin, jaw, front neck, supraclavicular, armpit, groin, mediastinum or abdominal artery, and sometimes occur in internal organs and cause compression symptoms. If it occurs in the stomach, small intestine or large intestine, there may be digestive tract symptoms such as abdominal distension, abdominal pain, abdominal mass, vomiting, blood in the stool, etc. If lymphoma invades the bone marrow, it may cause symptoms such as pale face, fever, abnormal bleeding, etc., and sometimes abnormal lymphocytes can be seen in the peripheral blood.
