Is nausea a sign of early-stage stomach cancer?

Vomiting is not necessarily early gastric cancer. It may be caused by chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer.

1. Chronic gastritis: Chronic gastritis is caused by autoimmune diseases, biological factors, or physical factors. It may cause loss of appetite, acid reflux, fullness after meals, weight loss, etc. It may also cause vomiting. It can be treated with drugs such as potassium citrate capsules and pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets.

2. Gastric ulcer: Gastric ulcer may be caused by long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or long-term heavy drinking and smoking. Helicobacter pylori infection, stomach discomfort, weight loss, loss of appetite, stomach pain, and vomiting cannot be ruled out. It can be treated with omeprazole enteric-coated capsules, colloidal pectin bismuth capsules and other drugs.

3. Duodenal ulcer: Duodenal ulcer is caused by glucocorticoids or genetic factors, usually manifested by stomach bloating, upper abdominal pain and vomiting. It can be treated with drugs such as famotidine tablets and ranitidine tablets.

Some systemic diseases, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, or the use of some drugs may also cause vomiting. So if you feel like vomiting, this is not necessarily the early stage of gastric cancer, you can go to the hospital for a systematic examination.
