For people who love beauty, the face is a person's facade. Most people who love beauty do not want to have spots on their faces. However, as they age, some people do not pay attention to their living habits. Things like staying up late, irregular sleep, and high mental stress can easily cause spots on the face, especially yellow spots on the face. Spots on the face will not essentially cause harm to a person's health, but will seriously affect personal image.

What to do if there are yellow spots on the face?

Characteristics of chloasma: patches, mainly yellow, black and blue. Melasma grows in patches.

The difference between melasma and freckles: Freckles grow around the nose, are small dots and are lighter in color. Freckles will appear at around six or seven years old, while melasma mainly appears during pregnancy and thereafter, most of them appear around 30-50 years old.

Causes of chloasma: pregnancy, oral contraceptives, sun exposure, endocrine disorders, chronic liver disease, kidney disease, anemia, etc.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine: Chloasma is mainly caused by blood deficiency or blood stasis resulting in lack of nutrition to the face.

Some people with severe chloasma also suffer from physical discomfort. For example, the chloasma turns bluish and is accompanied by a bitter taste in the mouth and dry throat, which is mainly caused by liver depression and qi stagnation.

The dark color of chloasma accompanied by dizziness, tinnitus, general weakness, back pain and leg pain is caused by liver and kidney deficiency.

The dark color of chloasma and dull complexion are caused by blood stasis.

Chloasma is caused by problems inside the body, so many people only apply cosmetics on their face when they encounter chloasma. The reason why the treatment is never effective is that the internal organs of the body are sending out alarms. Therefore, only by determining the cause clearly can you know which doctor to consult to prescribe the right medicine.

How to deal with dark spots on face?

Note 1: Use the best temperature for washing your face. Neither hot water nor cold water is the best temperature for washing your face. The best temperature for washing your face should be lukewarm water of 38-40℃.

Note 2: Don’t rub makeup remover on your face for too long. No matter what kind of makeup remover you use, 40 seconds is enough to remove residual makeup and dirt. Rubbing for too long can easily lead to dry skin.

Note 3: Ensure adequate sleep every day. Nutrients in the body can be stored, but sleep cannot be overdrawn or replenished. If you don’t sleep for a night, you will definitely look tired the next day. Even if you sleep more the next day, you won’t be able to make up for the lost sleep.

Note 4: Exercise regularly at least twice a week to make your skin glow from within. Exercise is the best way to restore your skin to a youthful glow. Even if you really can't spare extra time for exercise, just start with the simplest thing: walking. Walking at least twice a week can achieve the purpose of exercise.

Note 5: Exfoliate regularly. Promote skin metabolism.

Note six: Drink plenty of water. After exfoliating your skin, apply gauze soaked with hydrating essence, hydrating facial lotion, or lotion on your face and lie on it for 15-20 minutes. When you remove the gauze, you will feel that your skin is as soft as a baby's.
