Three major signs of colorectal cancer when sleeping at night

There is actually no fixed statement to clearly point out the three specific symptoms of colorectal cancer at night. According to clinical observation and experience, when colorectal cancer develops to the middle and late stages, patients may experience some discomfort symptoms when sleeping at night, including but not limited to drowsiness, pain, frequent urination, etc. Early colorectal cancer generally has no obvious symptoms and will not affect sleep. Therefore, early screening and diagnosis of colorectal cancer are very important. If you experience the above symptoms or are worried about the risk of colorectal cancer, please consult a doctor in time.

1. Lethargy: In the middle and late stages of colorectal cancer, it is easy to spread and metastasize. When it metastasizes to the brain tissue, the brain tissue is invaded by cancer cells, which may cause varying degrees of impaired consciousness. At night, you may be lethargic, spend most of your time sleeping, and your sleep time will be significantly prolonged.

2. Pain: As the tumor continues to grow, mid- and late-stage colorectal cancer can compress local tissues and nerves, often causing abdominal pain. The pain is quite intense and may interfere with sleep, especially at night.

3. Frequent urination: Intestinal cancer lesions may spread and invade the prostate, bladder and other urinary system organs. When sleeping at night, there will be a clear urge to go to the toilet, and symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency and pain may occur.

These symptoms are not necessarily specific to colorectal cancer, as many other diseases (such as acute gastroenteritis, urinary tract infection, etc.) may also cause similar symptoms. If colorectal cancer is suspected, it is recommended that patients go to the anorectal surgery department of a hospital in a timely manner and undergo appropriate examinations under the guidance of a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment.
