How to remove oil stains from clothes

Clothes may be clean, but if they are stained with oil such as soy sauce or soup, they will be completely ruined. Anyone who has washed clothes knows that any kind of oil stain on clothes is difficult to wash off, even if you add a lot of detergent or soap. Therefore, we need to think of some special ways to wash away oil stains on clothes. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Fresh soy sauce stains on clothes should be rubbed with cold water first, and then washed with detergent. Old soy sauce stains on clothes can be cleaned by adding an appropriate amount of ammonia to the detergent solution, or by using a 2% borax solution. Finally rinse with clean water.

2. Soup, sauce, and milk stains on clothing should be wiped with gasoline first. After the grease on the stains is removed, they should be cleaned with a diluted solution of 1 part 10% ammonia and 5 parts water, and then washed carefully with water.

3. For soup, sauce, and milk stains on brightly colored wool and silk fabrics, use 35-degree hot glycerin to soak the stains, then wipe gently with a brush. After a quarter of an hour, wipe with a cotton ball or cloth dipped in 25-30-degree warm water. It can also be removed with a mixture of 20 parts glycerol and 1 part 10% ammonia water.

4. General soup, sauce, and milk stains on clothes can be moistened with acetone, scrubbed with a soft cloth, then washed with a 2% ammonia solution, and finally rinsed with clean water several times until clean.

The ingredients in soy sauce and soup are different, so they must be distinguished when cleaning. If soy sauce drops on your clothes, you should first put the clothes in cold water and then add detergent. For the soup, gasoline is also needed. Of course, if the fabric of the clothes is different, there will be different cleaning methods.
