2. Location of lesion: If thyroid cancer occurs in other types of thyroid cancer, such as papillary cancer, follicular cancer, and anaplastic cancer, and does not affect the trachea, esophagus, recurrent laryngeal nerve, etc., and does not have lymph node metastasis, bone metastasis, etc., such thyroid cancer patients can have children after surgical treatment. If it occurs in medullary cancer, anaplastic cancer, or recurrent thyroid cancer patients, they need to wait until the disease is cured and there is no recurrence after half a year before considering having children;

3. Personal constitution: Some patients have good constitution, normal immune system function, and good disease control, and have controlled the tumor within a small range. After surgical treatment, they are cured after half a year and can have children at this time. However, they need to have regular prenatal checkups after pregnancy, because thyroid cancer may be affected by radioactive elements, which may cause fetal malformation;

4. Others: Since thyroid cancer surgery requires long-term treatment with levothyroxine sodium tablets, and the drug may affect the growth and development of the fetus through the placenta, it is recommended to suspend pregnancy plans during the medication period.
