Whether the right lung cancer is serious and whether it has metastasized needs to be judged based on the patient's specific condition. If the patient's condition is mild, it is generally not serious and there is no metastasis; but if the patient's condition is severe, it may be more serious and there is metastasis.

1. Mild cases without metastasis

1. Not serious: If the patient's tumor is small, there are no obvious discomfort symptoms, and there is no spread or metastasis, this is early lung cancer. After active treatment, it can usually be cured, so it is not serious.

2. No metastasis: For small cell lung cancer, due to its high malignancy, it is easy to metastasize to other parts of the body through the lymphatic system or blood system, causing invasion of distant organs and causing a series of symptoms. However, if it is non-small cell lung cancer, such as squamous cell carcinoma, it is not easy to metastasize because it is well differentiated, grows relatively slowly, and is less invasive to surrounding tissues.

2. Severe cases with metastasis

When the patient's condition develops to the late stage, the tumor may compress the surrounding blood vessels and nerves due to its enlargement, causing the patient to have symptoms such as coughing, expectoration, chest tightness, and even loss of appetite and weight. At the same time, if it is not treated effectively in time, it may spread and metastasize, thus endangering life and health.

It is recommended that patients actively cooperate with doctors for treatment after being diagnosed with lung cancer to avoid delaying the disease. In addition, they should also pay attention to eating a light diet in daily life and avoid eating spicy foods such as chili peppers and peppercorns.
