(1) Hematogenous metastasis: The most common site of metastasis is the lungs, because the cancer thrombus in the hepatic vein extends to the inferior vena cava, through the right heart to the pulmonary artery, and forms metastatic lesions in the lungs. If liver cancer metastasizes to the lungs, the patient may experience a variety of lung disease symptoms. Among them, coughing is often the symptom, and blood in the sputum. Hematogenous metastasis can also cause metastasis to the chest, adrenal glands, kidneys, bones, etc.

(2) Lymph node metastasis: Metastasis to the hilar lymph nodes is the most common, but it can also metastasize to the pancreatic, splenic, para-aortic and supraclavicular lymph nodes.
