What kind of nursing care should be paid attention to after lung cancer surgery? Five nursing tasks should be done after lung cancer surgery

For many years, various types of cancer have continued to threaten human life and health, especially lung cancer, which is a common cancer. Once you get the disease, it will seriously damage the patient's health. Therefore, once you get the disease, you should receive timely treatment. Surgery is a relatively common treatment method, but postoperative care is also particularly important.

1. Strengthening respiratory care, preventing and treating respiratory insufficiency, clearing respiratory secretions, and maintaining gas flow are the key points of postoperative care. For patients with severe pulmonary infection, a large amount of respiratory secretions, and weak sputum that causes respiratory insufficiency, they often need to inhale oxygen repeatedly for a long time and may need to use a ventilator to assist breathing at any time. At this time, tracheotomy and sputum suction are the most convenient and safest.

2. Continuous ECG monitoring and close monitoring of vital signs - arrhythmia: (1) Mild hypoxemia occurs after surgery, manifested as blood oxygen saturation of 90% to 95% within 48 hours under continuous oxygen inhalation. Arterial oxygen partial pressure is 10 to 12 kPa. (2) ST-T changes were found in the preoperative ECG examination. Arrhythmia occurred in 6 cases. (3) Pain in the surgical area caused by surgical trauma, autonomic dysfunction caused by mental stress, etc. (4) Increased pulmonary artery pressure and increased cardiac load. The most common atrial premature beats and atrial fibrillation.

3. Control the infusion volume and infusion speed to prevent pulmonary edema. The amount of blood transfusion should be lower than the amount of blood loss. It is better to have less than more. It is better to maintain proper dehydration. Do not infuse too fast. Generally, the infusion volume should not exceed 1500-2000ml within 24 hours. The speed should not exceed 20-30 drops/min.

4. Reasonable posture, proper activities and exercises. Patients who have undergone pneumonectomy should take a functional upright position during postoperative exercise to facilitate the recovery of normal posture. It is not advisable to squat to relieve bowel movements to avoid postural hypotension. Exercise appropriately while walking on the ground. Give appropriate analgesics before exercise and help patients cough up sputum. The amount of exercise should not cause pain or fatigue. In addition, it is best to take ginsenoside Rh2 after surgery to reduce local recurrence of cancer and improve the patient's immunity.

5. Once lung cancer is discovered, it is usually in the middle or late stages and is prone to recurrence and metastasis. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce recurrence and metastasis by surgical lymph node clearance and other methods. Cell immunotherapy can effectively remove residual cancer cells and micro-lesions after lung cancer surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and prevent the recurrence and metastasis of lung cancer. For patients with advanced lung cancer who have lost the opportunity for surgery or whose cancer cells have recurred or metastasized, tumor biological immunotherapy technology can quickly relieve their clinical symptoms, and most patients experience tumor shrinkage or even disappearance. Biological immunotherapy improves the body's own defense against cancer cells and is also an important treatment for preventing recurrence and metastasis.
